We have had a very busy summer and fall! In July we went to New Jersey to visit Steve's family. We had an awsome time site-seeing in New York City, playing in the ocean down the shore, and hanging out at the lake or at Grandpa and Grandma Barnes' house. (pictures to come soon)
Also, on July 25th, Dylan turned 3!!! He had a super fun party at Grandpa and Grandma Terry's house with all his family. This is Dylan waiting patiently as Grandma, Uncle Adam, and I to get his cake and balloons ready.
Dylan's favorite gift was the new bike Grandpa and Grandma Terry gave him! It didn't take long before he was flying like a rocket down the sidewalk (helmet on of course!)![]()
He REALLY had wanted a real live puppy, but was only mildly disapointed with the robot one he got (Mom sure loves it though, no clean up or training!).
In June Uncle Aaron and Aunt Laura had their first baby, Halle Ann Terry. She is now 4 months old and such a joy! She has the biggest blue eyes EVER and a beaming smile to match. We love her so much, almost as much as her doting parents and grandparents.
Maddy had an awsome time playing soccer. She is the fastest kid on the team, even out running all the boys! She can't wait to play again in the spring.
Also this fall we got a fun playground for the kids in the backyard. Sounds great right? Well, of course we have the whole neighborhood over all the time now, and Dylan wants to be pushed on the swing 24/7....
Halloween is fast approaching and the kids can't hardly wait. Dylan has been wearing his Batman costume everyday since we bought it a couple of weeks ago. It is already showing signs of wear and tear even before Halloween! Landon has announced that since he is now 12 1/2 this will be his LAST trick-or-treating Halloween - again. Guess he forgot he promised us the same thing last year! Maddy will be a beautiful fairy princess, as she truly is in real life.
Steve's 32nd birthday is on the 29th. We will be having a fun party at Grandma and Grandpa Terry's house. All he is asking for is new golf clubs (even though he hates the game and always comes back in a bad mood after he plays). We shall see what the golf-elves end up bringing him, maybe some lessons!
I love my new job working downtown in the Wells Fargo tower. It is was much needed change to maintain what sanity I have left.
Until next time, Happy Halloween from the Barnes Fam!
